Due to the spread of the coronavirus and the increase in Charlotte-area cases, the Dilworth Soup Kitchen has suspended its catered lunch service at the First Christian Church on East Blvd. until further notice.
Since March 16, 2020, the Dilworth Soup Kitchen has been offering healthy takeout lunches and related prepared food, fruits and vegetables for guests outside the First Christian Church.
Due to the increased interest in the takeout lunches and the need to provide food during a time when restaurants must remain closed, the Dilworth Soup Kitchen began offering takeout lunches on Mondays and now on Fridays at 11 a.m.
Please let your friends and anyone interested know that we have expanded our services to provide nutritious food two days a week. Thank you to our volunteers and our partners in contributing to our mission and combined success.
